A stick is a versatile object. You can use or wield the big stick but you can also lean on it or pass it on. Babette's Bâton bâton (L. 49 cm) is an eye-catching sculpture in an edition of 30, that you can lay on your table, lean against a wall or hang up in any direction you want. It consists of two sheets of paper, one kozo and one bamboo washi, with screen print and carbon print, wrapped around a wooden base completed with orange primer and a nylon string.

 

Each piece is numbered and hand-signed by the artist.
