In this series, Nienke Baeckelandt explores how our connection to nature and the human body is shaped by technology and our economic models. While humans and plants may appear distant, their fundamental structures, such as skin and veins, are strikingly similar.

This multiple is a derivative of this exploration, specifically playing with melting processes and the contrast between fluidity and stillness. By merging these elements through form and colour, she bridges this apparent divide, highlighting a shared, embodied experience of life.
